PROSPECTIVE PROJECTS UNDER DUE DILIGENCE
1. Centenary City Free Zone Enterprises (CC FZE) in Abuja, Nigeria
Centenary City, spread over 1,262 hectares, is a world class mini-city project being developed in Greater Abuja, the capital of Nigeria. This project designated as a free zone, known as Centenary Economic City Free Zone, is a mixed use free zone offering extensive tax breaks. Conceived by the Government of Nigeria because of the need to produce 7.2 million units annually for the next 20 years due to higher urbanization rates. The project is being executed as a private sector initiative through Centenary City Free Zone Enterprise (CCFZE), as the master developer which comprises world class professionals, architects and consultants in the built environment with local and international experience in large scale development projects. Some key components of the Centenary City Project are for leisure activities (mall of Africa, international commercial centre, championship golf course, amusement parks, etc.) residential districts (villas, apartment buildings, schools, mixed-use urban centre, etc.), hotels, convention centers, theme parks, international business centers, etc. The entire city is expected to be developed in 15 years but the key demand drivers of the city should be delivered in 5 years.
